My granparents went back to the Philippines last week to their home in Barangay 110, Utap in Tacloban City, Leyte. I last spoke to my dad a couple of hours before the storm hit. He said that they were going to stay on the second floor of their house. We haven’t heard from them since.
My dad is in his early 70s and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. My mother is in her mid to late 70s and became a U.S. citizen about 10 years ago. We are worried about her health because a few days before they left to go back, my mom was in the hospital because of COPD. She needs her nebulizer.
Our family is hoping and praying that they are safe and sound. Some of us have not been able to sleep because we are so worried. They are amazing parents, grandparents and great-grandparents and we want them back home in the states safe, healthy, and happy. So please keep sharing this http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1058912
